Do you have plans for dinner? If not, here's an easy to make meal that is both delicious and elegant. I've enjoyed this meal since I was a boy, and I enjoy it more now that I know how simple it is to prepare. Here's how I make Salmon, rice, and asparagus dinner:

This past week I went on another hike, and was blown away from the views atop Almagre Peak. It is a mountain just south of Pikes Peak, sharing a valley between them. The views from there were incredible, almost to the extent that I felt like I was in another world.

It's summer time once again, and I am glad that it is finally here! We've had a beautiful winter, just to be clear. However, I have been longing for the warm Summer sunshine for months.

With all that said, I had the opportunity to hike Blodgett Peak with some friends this past week. It was a good hike, even though we didn't make it to the summit. Next time around, we'll make the full journey. Until then, here's a glimpse of the hike and the rest of the afternoon:
