I first learned how to make biscuits at Chick-fil-a, but before that I had learned how to cook from my Mom. When I was very young, I had a very simple cookbook with pictures and easy instructions. It was a joy to make things that I could eat, and to create things with my own hands. More than a decade later, I worked in fast food and learned some of the techniques used in making food at a high volume. While I prefer homemade recipes to fast food processes, I can still appreciate some of the systems that people use to cook for hundreds of people. This video on making biscuits was created from a junction between homemade cooking and fast food techniques. The recipe is from the Fannie Farmer Cookbook, and the way I prepare the dough is from Chick-fil-a. Hopeful this video is both entertaining and helpful to you in making great homemade biscuits.
